We source only the finest Australian Redwood. Unlike standard wood that easily warps, our redwood is processed using finger-jointing (integrated wood) technology to offset internal stress. This maximizes structural stability, ensuring the arched structure remains perfectly true over decades.
Main Board Surface: The outermost layer is a single, continuous piece of wood with no finger joints for a flawless finish.
Core Layers: The inner two layers use finger-jointed wood, all made from the same premium Australian Redwood for uniform expansion and contraction.
Eco-Friendly 5-Layer Wood Wax Oil
We reject harsh chemical varnishes. The wood is treated with a natural plant-based wood wax oil (derived from linseed oil and palm wax). Coated 5 times, it provides 5-layer protection that is non-toxic, waterproof, anti-corrosion, and anti-cracking. The pigments used are even food-grade.
